Opsis Architecture is committed to design excellence, sustainability, and working in an open environment where shared ideas lead to collaborative visionmaking.
James Meyer, Alec Holser, and James Kalvelage formed Opsis Architecture in 1999 to seek out the potential within each project to create an architecture that is both innovative and enduring. We emphasize a commitment to inclusive design, placemaking, environmental sensitivity, and craftsmanship for a broad range of projects including residential design, urban and campus planning, theaters and performance spaces, recreation and community centers, museums and art centers, student centers and unions, classrooms and interpretive laboratories, and multi-use developments.
